Port · Kediri (Panjalu) under Kertajaya · as at first light, 1 January 1200

Tegal

The Cipamali is the old dividing line between the Sundanese west and the Javanese east.

It is a frontier of language and custom, not a line anyone garrisons, and it is where Kediri's writ starts to fray (the campaign board). Bujangga Manik, about 1500, puts the eastern end of the Sundanese country at the Ci Pamali and the Ci Serayu (en.wikipedia, Sunda Kingdom). The line used on this map is the modern West and Central Java boundary, a convention.
