Every update to OMNIA and Seeds of Empire, newest first. Each entry goes up the day the update goes live, and is posted on Discord too.
0.8.2
When the war ends
Every game now closes with a chronicle card you can keep and share.
New
A chronicle card at the end of every game, won or lost: your banner, your realm on the map, your best settlement count, the rivals you outlasted and the army that won.
Three card sizes: Post for Instagram and Facebook, Wide for X, Discord and Reddit, Story for Stories, TikTok and Shorts.
Share straight from your phone, or post to X and Reddit, copy the card for Discord, or download it.
Chronicle so far, in the campaign menu, makes a card at any moment of a game.
A new map picture button (❖) in the map tools takes a picture of the map as it is, ready to share.
This changelog.
Changed
The end of a game opens your chronicle instead of a short summary. Character cards you win still appear there.
Known issues and what comes next
Challenge a friend and the reign time-lapse are coming in the next update.
0.8.1
The manuscript
One visual language for the whole game.
Changed
The game now looks like a manuscript: historical type with a blackletter for titles, ink rules and knotwork in place of modern frames, and parchment throughout.
The website pages share the same look.
Living World alpha
A living world
The new version of Seeds of Empire, with households, trade and battles.
New
Dynasty, Trade and Battle panels: a household that ages and inherits, trade journeys, and battles you can watch.
The previous version stays playable at /play/classic, so campaigns already under way are not lost.
Fixed
Family members no longer share the name of a living relative in the same household.
Site update
A new home, and a faster game
New pages for the game, the Atlas and the campaign, and a smoother game.
New
New pages: the game, the Atlas of 1200 with its first realm entry (Navarre), and the Play by Post campaign.
Export a save from the menu to carry a campaign to another device.
Changed
Seeds of Empire runs its simulation in the background, so large games with thirty rivals stay smooth.
