The findspot of a plate of 1104 issued by Jayawarsa, the earliest king the Kediri record names (the campaign board).
The plate fixes the district in the Ponorogo hills; the settlement has never been located. It is the western limit of the securely documented core. In 1200 it is hill country on the Madiun side of the Wilis.
