Town · Kediri (Panjalu) under Kertajaya · as at first light, 1 January 1200

Ratu Boko

A walled and gated hilltop above the Prambanan plain, part palace and part sanctuary, of the eighth or ninth century.

It is the nearest thing central Java has to a fortress and nobody is certain what it was for (the campaign board). It is more than three centuries old in 1200 and no use of it in the twelfth century is recorded.
