Canne

A small walled hill town and bishopric over the Ofanto, on the site of Hannibal's victory, much reduced since Robert Guiscard sacked it in 1083.

It will give its name to Walter of Brienne's victory over Diepold and the chancellor's men on 22 October 1201.
