The curia's own account of the pontificate's first decade, with letters copied in. For 1200 it covers the recovery of the papal patrimony and the March, the war in Sicily against Markward of Annweiler for the boy king Frederick, the pope's handling of the German double election, the Ingeborg affair and the French interdict, the Fourth Crusade's preaching, and the pope's Roman building and charity. Written to justify Innocent, and silent on failures, but with documents not in the registers.
