Scardona

Scardona is an old town and bishop's see at the head of the Krka estuary, where the river comes down from the falls: a small place in 1200 under the Hungarian-Croatian crown, with the Šubić of Bribir (Šubić of Bribir) as its powerful neighbours.

Its later lords were the Šubić.
