The Dhaka villages and the Dhakeshwari shrine

A cluster of villages on the Buriganga round the shrine of Dhakeshwari ("the goddess who hides"), in the Vanga country a day's boat west of Sonargaon.

In 1200 the later city of Dhaka does not exist; this is a village group with a temple. The campaign board marks it "contested".
