Boleslav

Two places carry the name.

Mladá (Young) Boleslav on the Jizera is the castle of the province; Stará (Old) Boleslav on the Elbe, where St Wenceslas was killed in 935, keeps the old castle and the chapter of SS Cosmas and Damian, a place of pilgrimage. Neither is a chartered town in 1200.
