Belmont

Until about 1200 the family lived in the Belmont castle near Fidaz above Flims, then moved to Casti by Castrisch.

Their jurisdictions lay in the Gruob (Foppa), the Lugnez and Flims, with the advocacy of Pfäfers abbey's great court at Chur, the patronage of Pleif in the Lugnez and chapels of Sagogn (as recorded later in the 13th century).
