Alsatian annals on the Staufen side of the Upper Rhine. For 1199 and 1200 they give brief but dated notices of Philip's movements in Alsace, Swabia and the Rhineland, the war with Otto's party, and the bishops of Strasbourg and Basel. They are a check on the longer chronicles for the Upper Rhine and the Zähringen lands, but thin for anything beyond that region.
