The tin of Bangka and Belitung

Bangka's alluvial tin is among the richest on earth and is certainly in the ground in 1200.

Whether anyone was digging it then is another matter: the medieval tin trade runs on peninsular ore from Kedah and Kelantan, and the great Bangka workings are of the eighteenth century. Shown as a resource, not an industry. Belitung (Tanjung Pandan) is a tin and ceramic-wreck island of the sea peoples with no named lord.
