Matsue shore

Matsue is a castle town of 1611, which is not yet: on 1 January 1200 this is a low shore of villages and fishing on the north side of Lake Shinji, between the lake and the Shimane peninsula.

The Izumo kokufu stands at Ōba to the south (see the Izumo kokufu record), Izumo Taisha to the west; the lake is a fishery and a waterway.

A lake shore of villages; no castle, no town.

Where the sources disagree

Evidence: The campaign board asks for the Matsue area; there is no 12th-century source we know.

"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.
