Kiradu

Five stone temples and a step well standing in open desert, the Someshvara among the best carving in western India, with inscriptions between 1153 and 1178.

The Nadol Chahamana Alhana was made governor here in 1152 and a Paramara line held it again by the 1160s. Muizz al-Din sacked a Shiva temple at Kiradu in 1178 (Wikipedia, Muhammad of Ghor). It is being abandoned rather than sacked, as the wells and the trade move.
