The standard corpus of Gujarat's inscriptions. Part 2 gathers the records of the Chaulukyas (Solankis) of Anahilavada, including the grants of Bhima II, king in 1200, and of his feudatories and officials in Saurashtra, Kachchh and Lata, which show how far the kingdom still reached after the Ghurid raids of 1178 and 1197. The records of the Vaghela regent Lavanaprasada and his son Viradhavala, who were rising in the 1200s, begin here and continue in part 3. Texts are given in full; the translations are in Gujarati.
