Åhus

The archbishop of Lund's castle (Aosehus) at the mouth of the Helge river, the best harbour on Scania's east coast, with a port growing beside it (Church map, Lund).

It is the archbishop's crossing point toward Sweden and the Baltic. Not a chartered town in 1200.
