Year-by-year notices that fix Icelandic chronology. For 1198 to 1200 they record the raising of Þorlákr's relics at Skálholt, the Althing's adoption of his feast, the translation of Bishop Jón of Hólar in 1200, deaths of chieftains and priests, and events abroad such as Sverre's wars and the deaths of kings. Compiled later from older material, so dates can differ by a year between annals.
