Chanderi stands where the Betwa country meets the Malwa plateau on the cloth and grain road.
A branch of the Pratiharas holds it by descent and tolls the road. Chandela and Paramara claims overlap along the whole frontier here; the campaign board adds that "a strong year takes and a bad year loses." The Ghurid garrison at Narwar is within two days' ride.

What it holds
- Chanderi and its road tolls; Deogarh and Thubon (Jain sites) near it

Held by a Pratihara line whose overlord is not pinned.
Threats
- Ghurid raiders from Narwar
- Chandela or Paramara annexation
Where the sources disagree
- The campaign board entry has Chanderi as Chandela and "contested". We keep it contested.
Evidence: Two lines of Wikipedia and the campaign board; no inscription of the 1190s.
"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.
On the map: Small block, overlord unsettled.
