Chiang Dao hills

The hill country west and north-west of the Chiang Dao valley, toward Wiang Haeng and the Pai valley, with the head of the Ping: hill villages on the western rim of the Ping country, above the seam where the Mon country meets the Tai muang.

The limestone peak of Doi Luang Chiang Dao, with its cave, stands on the rim of the valley itself and is drawn inside the Chiang Dao seam, not here. No source names a lord over these hills. Customs and assemblies: village rule.
