The viharas of the Barind: Halud, Bhasu, Sitakot, Traikutaka and Vasu

The lesser monasteries of Varendra round Somapura and Mahasthan: Halud Vihara, Bhasu Vihara, Vasu Vihara (Mahasthan), Sitakot Vihara and Traikutaka Vihara (the last "contested" on the campaign board).

They live on the Barind's tank and rice land under the Sena governor, with the ruling dynasty indifferent or mildly hostile (Brahmanical Senas).

Where the sources disagree

Evidence: The campaign board entry only.

"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.

On the map: A small disc for the house and its home villages; the granted villages lay scattered.
