The Jain communities and temples of the western Rarh

The ruined and standing Jain temples of the Damodar and Barakar valleys (Deulghata, Telkupi, Barakar) in the western Rarh, built by Jain merchants of the Pala-Sena centuries (board: "likely").

A Jain community (the Saraks, from general knowledge) survives in the Rarh. No source gives their state in 1200.

Where the sources disagree

Evidence: The campaign board entry only.

"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.

On the map: A small disc for the house and its home villages; the granted villages lay scattered.
