The Daoist temples of Hunan are few and small.
The best known is Huangting Guan on Nanyue, tied to the Shangqing patriarch Lady Wei Huacun (recalled). They hold small temple lands and live on offerings. No Daoist lord or large estate in Hunan is known to me, and the great Daoist centres of the south lie in Jiangxi and Jiangnan (Longhushan, Maoshan).
