A Song-side history of the Jin, with annals for each emperor and chapters on institutions, customs, the capitals and the Jurchen way of life. For Zhangzong's reign it adds anecdote and Song rumour to the Jin shi: the emperor's Chinese tastes, his consort Li, the northern wars, the Yellow River and the state of the frontier. Less reliable than the Jin shi on dates but useful for how the Song saw the Jin in 1200 and for the descriptive chapters.
