Brahmin colleges

The learned Brahmins of the kingdom: the Nagar Brahmins of Vadnagar (Nagar Brahmins), the colleges of Patan, Siddhpur and Dholka, the priests of Pushkar and Thanesar.

On the Ghurid march the Sanskrit college of Vigraharaja IV at Ajmer has been torn down for the Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra. The learned classes serve every court; they do not leave when the court changes.
