Town · The Sundanese kingdom of western Java · as at first light, 1 January 1200

Pakuan

The seat claimed for the Sundanese king, in the gap between Salak and Pangrango where the roads from both coasts meet.

Everything on the Sunda king list between 1030 and the fourteenth century comes from the Carita Parahyangan (about 1580), which gives Prabu Guru Darmasiksa a reign from 1175 running impossibly long. The place was settled from the tenth century or earlier but did not gain major political importance until the fifteenth (en.wikipedia). 'Pajajaran' is the later name.

This is the weakest capital on this half of the campaign board; the campaign board marks it contested and we agree.
