Krabi

The bead makers' site inland of Krabi, where stone and glass beads were made and Indian and Mediterranean goods have been dug up.

The heavy occupation is far older than 1200; what survives here now is a river landing at the western end of a track to the gulf (board).

Lord in 1200

not known: no source names a lord, governor or headman for 1 January 1200

How things stand that morning

No lord, governor or garrison is named by any source for 1 January 1200. Treat as a landing or settlement on the route whose overlord, if any, is not known.

Where the sources disagree

  • The campaign board marks it 'secure'; the site is, its use in 1200 is not.

Evidence: Fair for the site's age (excavation, as the campaign board reports it); thin for 1200.

"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.
