Deogarh

Deogarh on the Betwa is a Gupta-period site with a Jain and Hindu temple group on the Betwa scarp, called Kirtigiri-durga after the Chandela king Kirtivarman (eleventh century).

A Jain centre of the Chandela and Pratihara periods. It faces the Paramara and Pratihara ground to the south-west.
