Ajaigarh

Ajaigarh is a hill fort above the Ken valley with two tanks named Ganga and Yamuna, the third fort of the Chandela kings.

A Chandela stone of Paramardi's reign (about 1187) is recorded there. The fort guards the way between the Banda plain and the Panna diamond gravels.
