Tambora and Sanggar

A big quiet mountain on a peninsula of good rice ground and sulphur workings, with villages round its foot (the campaign board).

In April 1815 Tambora produces the largest eruption in recorded history and kills the people who live here along with their language; none of that has happened in 1200. The Sanggar people are named later as a separate language and polity; nothing is recorded for 1200.

Where the sources disagree

Evidence: A place the campaign board marks likely; no source of 1200 names it or its lord.
