Mintaka and Kilik passes

The Mintaka (about 4,700 m) and Kilik (about 4,800 m) passes are the tracks from Tashkurgan over the Karakoram to Hunza and the Indus.

They are summer roads of herders and traders, closed in winter. Positions approximate (within about 20 km). Nobody governs them; the Sarikol people and the Hunza chiefs share the traffic.
