Hunza (Baltit)

The upper Hunza valley, Burushaski-speaking, with the later capital at Baltit (Karimabad) beside the older Altit.

Wikipedia's Hunza page says the tradition of the independent principality is 'around 1200' and gives definite dates only from 1750, so we treat 1200 as a late reckoning, not a founding date. Nagar lies across the river. Near the west edge of the sheet, about 100 km inside the frame.
