The middle of Flores from the Ngada hills round Bajawa through the Nage country to the Ende and Lio coast on the south side.
The south coast has the bay of Ende, the natural collecting point for the sandalwood coming north out of Sumba (board; see Ende), under a volcano. The people live in clan hamlets with ritual ground of standing stones (modern accounts; recalled). Nothing in a source we reached names this country before the Portuguese, and the Nagarakretagama's list of 1365 has no place here (en.wikipedia).
