Mathura's Krishna temples were sacked by Mahmud of Ghazni in 1018 and rebuilt in the two centuries since.
The Keshava Deva temple was built in 1150 under a Gahadavala feudatory (recalled; Katra inscription). The temples pay dues to whoever holds the road; whether a Ghurid officer takes them in 1200 is not recorded.
