The tutelary shrine of the dynasty, two kilometres from Nagda, and the only surviving temple of the Lakulisha-Pashupata order in India.
An inscription of 971 in its Lakulisha temple names Sri Bappaka at Nagahrada, the first appearance in the record of the founder the Guhilas trace themselves to. The kings rule as the god's deputies, so the abbot is a power in his own right: he legitimates the Rawal.
