One of Finland's ancient hillforts, on a steep hill above the Aura near Lieto, between Lieto and the Aura mouth (the marker stands at Lieto; the exact spot is not checked here).
It has yielded numerous Iron Age and medieval finds (en.wikipedia Lieto), so it was used both before and after the coming of the church; whether it was manned in the winter of 1199-1200 is not pinned. It is the natural refuge of the Aura valley's farmers against seaborne raiders.
