Treviño

Castle and small town in the district of Ibida south of Vitoria, chartered by Sancho VI (the fuero, now lost, is believed to date from 1161).

When Castile took Ibida in 1199-1200 the castle of Treviño held out; it later passed to Castile by exchange for Inzura.
