Alwar

A long ridge fort at the northern end of the Aravallis on the flank of the road from Delhi to Ajmer.

Its eleventh-century foundation rests on tradition, and the local Rajput chiefs are between the Chahamana past and the Ghurid present with no charter to settle it (board). Alwar is the later centre of Mewat: Wikipedia's Mewat page has Hemraj launching an invasion from it in a later reign, long after this game opens.
