Ping rapids

The gorge where the Ping cuts through the hills between Haripunjaya and Tak, a run of rocks and drops that boats must be lined through or portaged round.

It is why the north and the plain are two different worlds, and why goods go overland as often as by water (the campaign board). The point is the campaign board's (17.45 N, 98.90 E).
