Lord in 1200

Not pinned. Neuburg is an imperial fief whose advocacy came to the counts of Scheyern, the Wittelsbach ancestors, in the tenth century; the old ducal court (Herzoghof) passes to the Wittelsbach dukes only in 1247, so in 1200 it is probably in royal (Staufen) hands with the Wittelsbach as advocates.

Overlord

The duke of Bavaria and the king.

How things stand that morning

The old ducal court with a second castle in the town; the tower of the town castle (the later Hexenturm) is built about 1200. A Benedictine nunnery, founded 1002.
