Munger (Mudgagiri)

The Ganges fortress town of the Pala armies (Mudgagiri) in the west of Anga, where the road from Magadha meets the road from Bengal.

The campaign board marks it "contested". It is the nearest Hindu stronghold east of Bihar to the Ghurid captain at Bhagwat and Bhiuli, a few hundred kilometres west, and the first the Turks must take or pass.
