A hill fort of the Bellary granite in the Ballakunde district of Sindavadi.
Wikipedia (Kurugodu) calls it a prominent hill fort in the 1100s, named in lists of fortresses captured by the Hoysala kings Vishnuvardhana and Viraballala II, and gives an inscription recording gifts to a Shiva temple of 6 December 1173 and 24 October 1181, with a second of the same reign, that of the Sinda ruler Rachamalla II, probably made on or shortly after 1181. The campaign board says the Sinda chiefs hold it and that the tenure is client rather than direct, the eastern anchor of the Hoysala reach across the Tungabhadra. The dates of the Hoysala captures are not given.

Where the sources disagree
- The regional brief's sid reading treats the Sindas as Yadava vassals; the campaign board has this fort in the Hoysala reach. We mark it contested, as in Sindas.
Evidence: The inscriptions and the Hoysala lists are on the Wikipedia page; the Hoysala client tenure in 1200 is the campaign board's reading. The campaign board gives this place to the Hoysala region but the regional brief gives the ground to sid; no other sheet covers the campaign board id, so it is written here.
"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.
