The headland at the southern tip where the two seas meet, with the temple of the goddess Kumari.
Wikipedia (Kanyakumari) says it has been a town since the Sangam period and names the temple in the epics and in Purananuru; the campaign board adds that every ship from Malabar to the Coromandel coast and Lanka must round the Cape, where wind and current change. The ground is Nanjinad, contested between Venad and the Pandya claim.

Where the sources disagree
Evidence: The Wikipedia page gives no ruler or date for the temple; the contest is the campaign board's account. The campaign board gives this place to the Hoysala region but the regional brief gives the ground to sit; no other sheet covers the campaign board id, so it is written here.
"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.
