Gulbarga

A plateau town on the Bhima-Krishna divide between the Kalyani plateau and the Krishna.

The Bahmani capital of the 1340s does not exist. The Hoysala king Ballala II claims the ground south of the Bhima in the 1190s and the Yadavas claim all of it; no source we read says who holds the town on 1 January 1200.
