Garze

A wide plain at about 3,400 m (recalled) in the Hor country, later the centre of the Hor states and the Garze prefecture (Wikipedia names the prefecture with Kham).

Nothing about this place is dated in the sources we could reach for 1200; the picture is the general pattern of a Khampa valley, marked as such. The gazetteer lists the place as Ganzi (31.63 N, 99.99 E) and not as Garze.
