Guge, Purang and Ladakh in 1200 are among the least documented kingdoms in the atlas. Their witnesses are the temple inscriptions and wall records at Tholing, Tabo, Tsaparang and Alchi, which Tucci read and published in Indo-Tibetica (vol. 2 on Rinchen Zangpo and the 11th-century foundations, vol. 3 on Tsaparang), and the mNga' ris rgyal rabs, a genealogy of the western kings compiled about 1497 from older records, which gives the line of Guge and Purang kings through the 12th and 13th centuries and their dealings with the Khasa kings of the Karnali and with Kashmir. Which king held Guge on 1 January 1200 is not fixed by any dated text.
