Erode, Kodumudi and Bhavani

The Kaveri crosses the Kongu plateau at Kodumudi, at Bhavani with the confluence of the Bhavani and the Kaveri, and at Erode.

Chola temple grants and inscriptions run through all three. They are crossing points on the road from the delta to the west coast through the Palghat gap.
