Champa (Bhagalpur): the old capital of Anga

The ancient capital of Anga on the Ganges, the campaign board's "contested" Anga town, with Patharghatta (Colgong), Sultanganj and Vikramashila close by.

A Ganges toll town where Sena, Pala-line, Karnata and local claims overlap. English Wikipedia's Karnat page suggests Lakshmanasena's expansion cost the Karnatas ground in Purnia; the Anga strip is the same debate.
