Belgaum

Venugrama, a market village with a Jain establishment on the Malaprabha plateau at the head of the Ghat roads to Goa.

The fort with the Kamal Basadi is built in 1204 by Bichi Raja and the Ratta capital moves here in 1210 (Wikipedia, in the Ratta record): none of that stands on 1 January 1200.
