Gran Canaria

The most populous and organised of the islands: farmers of wheat and barley with irrigation, stone villages and granaries, painted caves, a nobility and priests.

In 1200 the island is most likely still divided among several chiefdoms; the single kingdom of Gumidafe and Andamana and its split into Galdar and Telde are later traditions.
