The lesser viharas of Magadha: Telhara, Ghosrawan, Phullahari, Giriyak, Gurpa and Silao

The ring of smaller monasteries and stupa sites round Nalanda and Rajgir: Telhara (Telandhaka), Ghosrawan, Giriyak, Phullahari, Gurpa (Kukkutapadagiri), Guneriya, Silao and Uren, and the Barabar and Jethian caves.

Each holds a village or two and a handful of monks. The raids of 1197 to 1206 threaten all, and the campaign board marks Phullahari and Guneriya "contested".

Where the sources disagree

"The campaign board" is OMNIA's working map. These notes record where its earlier claims were checked against the sources.

On the map: A small disc for the house and its home villages; the granted villages lay scattered.
